How to Place an Order
Our
web site is designed to enable you to quickly and easily order
your customized note cards online. We realize that you may feel
more comfortable discussing your options with one of our designers.

Placing
your order:
There
are several ways to place your order. We certainly encourage you
to use our simple website order forms.
Website
orders: Simply choose the desired card style and complete the
specific order form. Once completed, submit the order. A confirmation
e-mail will summarize your order. If you are sending a photo,
you can send via the U.S.Mail or e-mail.
- Multiple
orders: Because each order is unique, a separate online
order form must be completed for each order.

US Mail: You may send us a print out of the order form.
This method may make the most sense if you are sending us an
actual photo.
- Phone:
You may phone in your order to 866-469-7100, although we prefer
you order online to ensure order accuracy.
- Visit:
As a young growing business, we are open 7 days a week. If you
are local, please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Sending
a photo:
You
may deliver the photo in person or send it to PJ Greetings at
484 Fairview, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. You may also send a photo
via e-mail to pjcardona@pjgreetings.com.
Please be aware not all photos will make an ideal card. The photo
quality is very important. Our high quality printers will create
an excellent reprinted image of your photo. However, you should
not expect photo quality prints such as you may receive with photo
paper reprints as we do not create our cards on photo paper. We
will review the photo(s) and let you know as soon as possible
if the photo(s) will work.

If you are using a digital camera, use the highest Mega-pixel
setting. Send your image in JPG format. Printouts from inkjet
or photo printers, instamatics or Polaroids may not work well.
A 35mm auto-focus camera with a flash works best. Natural light
is best. Keep the background simple. We can also use black &
white photos.
- If
you would like, you may send more than one photo, however this
is not necessary. We will use the most suitable photo for the
format you have selected. Your photos will be returned with
your order. An additional set up charge will apply if additional
proofs are requested.
- You
can use pictures from a professional photographer if you obtain
written permission from the photographer.
Proofs:
For
all non-stick fun products, including birth announcements, invitations,
holiday cards, photo stationery, we will offer to send an electronic
proof via email for your review and approval before processing.
Don't have internet access? A physical proof can be mailed to
you at no charge. A charge of $3.50 will be charged for Priority
Mail. Once your proof is approved, your order will be processed.
The design cost of the proof is included in the order price based
on the initial photo. We can process more than one proof and photo,
however an additional design cost of $10.00 will apply.
Ribbon
Tying:
We do not currently provide a ribbon tying service. Many other
companies charge extra for this service and we prefer not to.
It is a very simple process and we will provide a hand tied sample
and instructions for you to complete.
Minimum
order size:
The
minimum order size will be listed for each style of note card
on the order form page. We understand special orders may be required,
so please feel free to contact us directly in those special circumstances.
Turnaround
Time:
Generally all orders ship within 3-5 days from the order date
or from the date a final proof is agreed upon. Orders are shipped
via UPS Ground, unless otherwise requested, generally taking 3-5
days to arrive depending on your proximity to Chicago. East and
West coast shipping locations tend to be 4-5 days. If you prefer
a faster shipping method (see Shipping and Handling), please indicate
in the comment section of your order.
Shipping:
PJ Greetings standard shipping method is UPS Ground (2 to 5 business
days). You may choose UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air. UPS
does not ship to PO Boxes, so make sure that you give a street
address when you order.

Envelope
pre-ordering:
For your convenience we do offer sending out your envelopes in
advance of your completed order. This will enable you to address
your envelopes before you receive your cards. A charge of $.10
per envelope will be assessed.
Card
errors:
In
the unlikely event that we make a mistake on your order we will
correct the mistake and re-ship. If an error was made generating
a card different from your final approved proof, we will correct
the mistake and reship to you at no charge. If the error was approved
in the final proof, then a reprinting charge will be added to
your total. We certainly do our best to minimize this from happening.
Payment
Options:
For
your convenience, you may choose to be billed or use Visa/Mastercard.
Please indicate on your order form the desired method of payment.
You will not be billed or charged on your Visa until the order
is completed and shipped.

Extra photo processed: $10.00 set up cost.
Priority Mailing a proof: $3.50
Canceling an order after photo processing performed: $20.00
